I cannot complain about this room with the cheap prices. The room is quaint and clean. There was no blow dryer or iron, but they brought me an iron when i called and asked. They front desk was very clean and the people were polite. There is a pool, but it was literally in the middle of the parking lot (there was a wall). Overall it’s a great option if you’re on a budget.
Good value. Basic facilities. My room did not have hangars for my clothes, nor was there a hairdryer, which the online information showed that there would be.

Door kept getting stuck and toilet moved other then that good service and easy booking/ check in with the front desk lady.
Look. It's a cheap location convenient to where I need to be when I'm in McAllen. The rooms are spacious and the bed is comfy. The wife and I love the easy access to the local area. Close to good food and an HEB. If you know you know.
The place is good and quiet very fare for the price, staff is friendly, the blankets doesn't smell clean , other than that it's a good place to stay for couple of days.

While I cannot speak to any other review, I would like to share my recent [June 2024] two night stay and my OYO experience. The room rate is phenomenal! Both check-in & check-out were quick and easy. My room was very clean. Quite comfortable. Very quiet!! In fact, this stay was only one of only a handful of motel / hotel stays where I actually slept well. Seriously! Bonuses (1) true to dog friendly. Lots of green space for our 4-legged children (2) walkable to city center; restaurants and shopping center. If you’re in McAllen I recommend staying with OYO
